What We Do

RoofWorx - Gulf Shores is a roofing contractor serving Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan and the rest of south Baldwin County. We handle residential and commercial properties of every size — from a single failed pipe boot on a beach cottage to a full FORTIFIED re-roof, and from a condo association’s reserve report to an emergency tarp at two in the morning after a named storm.

The work splits roughly into three: replacement, repair, and storm response. On this coast the third one drives a lot of the first two.

How We Work

• Free estimates, in writing. We get on the roof, photograph what we find, and give you a scope you can compare against other bids — including the wind rating and the nailing pattern, which is where quotes actually differ.
• Repair when repair is the answer. Most roofs we are called to do not need replacing. We would rather do a small job now and the big one when you genuinely need it.
• Past code, not to it. Baldwin County requires 130 mph materials, six nails and synthetic underlayment. That is our floor. On a FORTIFIED job we seal the deck as well.
• A warranty covering workmanship and materials. One company to call if something is wrong, rather than a dispute between the roofer and the manufacturer.
• Storm response first. After a named storm, tarping and damage documentation come before scheduled work. That is the deal of being the local company.

Coastal roofing is full of decisions that are invisible on a finished roof and decisive three years later — which fasteners survive salt air, how to detail flashing for rain that arrives horizontally, why a deck has to be dried in the same day it is opened in September. Those are not things you learn from a product sheet.

We install to the IBHS FORTIFIED standard and we help homeowners through the Strengthen Alabama Homes grant — up to $10,000 toward a stronger roof on an eligible owner-occupied home, followed by a state-mandated discount of up to 35% on the wind portion of the insurance premium.
